Who We Are

The Cochrane Society for Housing Options (CSHO) is a community-driven, non-profit organization committed to ensuring that everyone in Cochrane has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing. Our mission is to support low- to moderate-income individuals and families by creating housing solutions that foster security, dignity, and opportunity.

CSHO currently owns and manages 35 affordable rental units in Cochrane, providing homes for those who might otherwise struggle to find suitable housing. We are passionate advocates for affordable housing and work closely with local partners, governments, and community members to influence policy and expand housing options. We also provide education and resources on housing-related topics to empower residents and strengthen community understanding of housing challenges.

Our Social Enterprise: Home Reno Heaven

Through our innovative social enterprise, Home Reno Heaven, we generate proceeds that directly support our affordable housing initiatives. By repurposing and reselling quality home renovation materials, we not only promote sustainability but also create a revenue stream that helps fund housing programs and services for those in need.
